Emily Beecham is an English actress and singer who was born on May 12, 1984. She is most recognised for her roles in the Coen Brothers films Hail, Caesar! and Into the Badlands on AMC, as well as the title character in the 2017 film Daphne. She won the Best Actress prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019 for her role in the film Little Joe.

Bon Voyage, her debut feature film, released in October of that year and received favourable reviews after airing on ITV. At the Monte Carlo Television Festival in June 2007, it received the Golden Nymph award.
She was cast as the main lady in Jan Dunn’s independent film The Calling in mid-2007, for which she earned the Best Actress Award at the London Independent Film Festival. Beecham made her professional theatrical debut in Ian McHugh’s first play, How to Curse, at the Bush Theatre in Shepherd’s Bush, London, in the same year, directed by Josie Rourke, the theatre’s artistic director.
