A tsarist aristocrat who was in London during World War I negotiating an arms deal when the 1917 Russian Revolution stranded him there. In Londosota, he was joined by his wife and son (Helen’s father). Taylor Hackford, her soon-to-be husband, met her when he directed her in White Nights (1985).
