Carey began singing at the age of three because she had a strong vocal quality, and it was by chance that her mother noticed her immense ability at such a young age. Carey imitated her mother’s singing wonderfully one day while she was rehearsing for her role of Maddalena in Verdi’s “Opera Rigolettos.” Despite the fact that she was only three years old at the time, her mother began training her how to improve her voice abilities.
